Anna Dello Russo (ADR) at H&M Accessories Collection Preview | Full Price List

Anna Dello Russo at H&M, ADR at H&M, accessories collection, ADR at H&M logo

The Anna Dello Russo (ADR) at H&M accessories collection will finally be upon us come 4 October 2012, almost 7 months after the Marni at H&M frenzy. Celebrating the street style goddess and fashion icon of loud ostentatious dressing, the Anna Dello Russo (ADR) at H&M accessories collection is nothing short of showy ornamental opulence.

With the Maison Martin Margiela for H&M coming this Fall, H&M is certainly not letting up. So the question now is how will you adjust your budget –if you have any at all? Do take note that most of the Anna Dello Russo (ADR) at H&M accessories collection are pieces that you are probably going to wear 2 or 3 times a month. That being said, H&M collaborations are limited editions and have become so exclusive and sought-after that you just have to invest in them. No exceptions; fashion moves fast. Take Tom Ford for Gucci and Margiela for Hermés in the 1990s, or even Margiela for his namesake label as examples. There is no turning back the clock.

Taking the above into context, the choker necklaces, bangles and bracelets are definite must-haves and most of them are only retailing at less than S$100. All I can say is go go go!

Check out my sneak peak of the Anna Dello Russo (ADR) at H&M accessories collection as well as the full price list of the collection below, out 4 October 2012.

Marni at H&M Collection, Lookbook, Ad Campaign and Price List

Marni at H&M

The Marni at H&M collection launches globally –and in Singapore– on 8 March 2012 which is just one day away! The collection is an eclectic one full of quirky sophistication mixed with a sporty allure that is unmistakably Marni. The Marni at H&M ad campaign is headed by Liu Wen, Imogen Poots and Sam Hayes.

Over 90 products for both men and women are featured in the Marni at H&M collection with the women getting the majority of course but customers are only limited to one piece per style. The printed silk dresses, skirts and tops are probably going to be the first ones to go for women; the others are really not that much to look at but if all else fails, you know what to do! For men, it’s just disappointment all around with the exception of two or three pieces.

Nevertheless do check out the full Marni at H&M lookbook below as well as still life product images with prices attached in SGD. Good luck!

H&M Winter 2011 Menswear & Womenswear Lookbook

H&M Winter 2011 Menswear & Womenswear Lookbook, Andreas Sjödin, Frida Gustavsson, Jeremy Dufour

H&M presents their H&M Winter 2011 Menswear & Womenswear Lookbook just in time for the opening of their first Southeast Asian store in Singapore on September 3rd. Shot by Andreas Sjödin, the H&M Winter 2011 Menswear & Womenswear Lookbook features Frida Gustavsson and Jeremy Dufour.

H&M Winter 2011 Womenswear features loose silhouettes and sculptural shapes with a focus on colour-blocking; think strong colours against black or white basics. On the other hand, H&M Winter 2011 Menswear displays strong tailored silhouettes in classic neutral colours like grey, camel and blue shades, accessorised with lace-up boots, suspenders, bow ties and clear glasses. Check out the rest of the H&M Winter 2011 Menswear & Womenswear Lookbook below.

David Beckham | H&M Bodywear Line

David Beckham Bodywear line

David Beckham has chosen H&M to launch his all-new Bodywear line and have settled for a long-term distribution partnership deal. Read: it is not a one-off collaboration. For those not in the know, here’s a quick update. David Beckham has been working with American Idol franchise creator Simon Fuller to create a David Beckham lifestyle brand.

“David and I have a number of ambitious and exciting ideas in development across a broad range of categories. The next 10 years will see David evolve into being recognized, not just as an iconic sports figure, but also as an important entrepreneur.” -Simon Fuller

David Beckham has already announced the launch of his third fragrance with Coty called Homme by David Beckham, due out this September. Following that, his Bodywear line in collaboration with H&M will be launched on 2 February 2012. That means affordable price points that will go easy on the wallet. H&M will carry the line in 1800 stores globally. Well, I find this peculiar. This could be a licensing agreement gone wrong. While launching his Bodywear line via H&M means a larger share in the market, it also means that David Beckham is positioning his lifestyle brand as a contemporary/better label. Interesting.

Homme by David Beckham

“The final piece in the jigsaw was a retail partner who has the vision and capability to distribute these products globally. In H&M we have found the perfect partner to collaborate with going forward.” -David Beckham

I would expect David Beckham to place his brand at bridge level at the very least, taking into consideration that his wife Victoria Beckham has her own designer label; he would want to match up to that. Maybe it is still too early to tell as his Bodywear line will be the first of many lines but surely it is a hint of things to come. Pierre Cardin comes to mind and it makes me cringe. I only hope David Beckham surprises me in his next launch. Fingers crossed!

Brian Lichtenberg for Forever 21

Brian Lichtenberg has teamed up with high-street chain Forever 21 to come up with a range of graphic t-shirts (nine tees to be exact). This is Forever 21′s first ever designer collaboration, following the likes of Target and H&M, and let’s hope it won’t be the last. Some of you might be asking Brian Lichtenberg who? Well, he is the designer best known for creating that caution-tape outfit for Lady Gaga for her ‘Telephone’ music video. Unfortunately, only the top 200 Forever 21 stores will feature this line of graphic t-shirts. Will it be available online? It remains to be seen.
