Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2012/2013 Ad Campaign | Chloë Sevigny by Mert and Marcus

Chloë Sevigny, Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2012/2013 ad campaign, Mert and Marcus

The Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2012/2013 ad campaign stars Chloë Sevigny, who previously featured for Miu Miu in the Spring/Summer 1996 ad campaign. This also marks the third straight ad campaign that Miu Miu has used celebrities instead of models; first with the controversial Hailee Steifeld campaign for Fall/Winter 2011/2012.

Photographed by Mert and Marcus, the ever edgy Chloë Sevigny wears similar eye makeup to the runway show where pantsuits that came in stripes, checks and prints were the main highlights. Styling was done by Katie Grand and featured loud pops of colour that make this a quirky and light-hearted campaign much like their previous one for Spring/Summer 2012.

Vogue Paris October 2011 | Sasha Pivavorova, Anja Rubik

Vogue Paris October 2011 cover, Sasha Pivavorova, Mert & Marcus, Emmanuelle Alt

Sasha Pivavorova covers the Vogue Paris October 2011 issue in what I must say is Emmanuelle Alt’s best issue ever since her first Vogue Paris issue in April 2011 as editor-in-chief. The cover editorial, titled Fatale features both Sasha Pivavorova and Anja Rubik in a daring display of nudity that is so Vogue Paris. Lensed by Mert and Marcus and styled by Emmanuelle Alt, Anja Rubik and Sasha Pivavorova’s commanding presence in each of the photos coupled with sensual hints make for a stunning and stimulating editorial. Natalia Vodianova stars in a 60′s inspired fashion editorial titled My Generation alongside Sam Riley for Vogue US September 2011. Shot by Mert and Marcus in Brighton, England and styled by Grace Coddington, Natalia Vodianova and Sam Riley channeled the 60′s mod vibe perfectly. Somewhat different from Mert and Marcus’ usual aesthetic, the soft lighting and vintage edits plus Grace Coddington’s magical touch make this a winner. Stella McCartney Fall/Winter 2011/2012 Ad Campaign Preview | Natalia Vodianova

Stella McCartney Fall/Winter 2011/2012 ad campaign, Natalia-Vodianova, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott

The Stella McCartney Fall/Winter 2011/2012 ad campaign features Natalia Vodianova, shot by none other than photographers of the moment, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in a private Oxfordshire home. Black and white imagery was juxtaposed against the greenery of a topiary garden. Nothing spectacular here but it’s still lovely nonetheless.

With the preview of the Stella McCartney Fall/Winter 2011/2012 ad campaign, Stella McCartney also launches an enhanced e-commerce site and a second edition of her iPad app. 28 European countries have been added to the e-commerce site which launched only last year and will be equipped with a ‘reserve in store’ function that allows customers to reserve an item online and collect it in a store of their own choosing. Customers can also book a private in-store shopping service on the site.

The second edition of the Stella McCartney iPad app features a selection of images, selected by Stella McCartney herself, from the ‘Linda McCartney, A Life in Photographs’ show in London and the accompanying book. Other features include a look at the making of the Team GB Olympics-inspired sportswear ad campaign of which Stella McCartney designed, backstage footage of Stella McCartney’s Fall 2011 runway show n Paris, a preview of the Stella McCartney Resort 2012 collection and a video of the dresses that Stella McCartney created for the Met Gala in May.

TOM FORD Autumn/Winter 2011 Ad Campaign | Candice Swanepoel

Tom Ford's photo Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot in London overlooking the Thames, the Autumn/Winter 2011 TOM FORD campaign features models Candice Swanepoel and Jon Kortajarena. The new campaign broke on the TOM FORD website and will run in September books.

The latest TOM FORD Autumn/Winter 2011 ad campaign features Candice Swanepoel, photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot in London overlooking the Thames. If you remember, images and a video of the Tom Ford Autumn/Winter 2011 collection were only released last month to the public due to Tom Ford being quite the private man. Tom Ford always loved his privacy and somewhat disliked the internet so I suppose this would come as a surprise to many that the Tom Ford Autumn/Winter 2011 ad campaign was released online -on the Tom Ford Facebook page and the Tom Ford website to be exact. I can’t wait to hear his reaction, if any.

For now let’s take a look at the all-new Tom Ford Autumn/Winter 2011 ad campaign which reminds me of Gucci when Tom Ford was in charge. What he did now was incorporate the recently launched Tom Ford Beauty line and Tom Ford Eyewear, creating a Tom Ford girl that is strong, confident, glamourous and extremely sexy. It was good old Tom Ford.
